Review
What an amazing set of stories. This peek into Stioker's kindle world from the eyes of other authors was really enjoyable. The emotional ups and downs could have come from the author herself, so in-tuned were these women with her characters.

Prime Minister

Blurb

Gavin: Ellie Montague is smart, sensitive, and so gorgeous it hurts to look at her. She’s also an intern in my office. The office of the Prime Minister of Canada.*
That’s me. The PM.
She calls me that because when she calls me Sir, I get hard and she gets flustered, and as long as she’s my intern, I can’t twist my hands in her strawberry-blonde hair and show her what else I’d like her to do with that pretty pink mouth.**

Ellie: How much I like the PM varies on a daily basis. He’s intense, controlling, and a perfectionist in every way—and he demands the same of his staff.
How much I want him never wavers.
There’s something about him that tugs at me deep inside, and makes me wish that just once he’d cross the line in a late night work session. I’d take that secret to the grave if it meant I got a taste of the barely restrained beast inside him.***

FOOTNOTES:
* This is a fictional erotic romance. No prime ministers or interns were harmed in the making of this book.
** Except it’s a BDSM romance, so they were hurt a little.
*** Spoiler alert: she gets more than a taste. And she likes it.

Review

This was an awesome book! I loved Gavin and Ellie. They were absolutely perfect for each other. This was a sweet romance with a very wicked side to it. I'm on the edge of my seat to find out what the frisky beavers have in store for us next...

Shelter for Elizabeth

Blurb
Elizabeth Parkins lived through a nightmare come true—getting kidnapped by a serial killer. Seeking a fresh start, she moves to Texas, but escaping her demons proves impossible when she’s too terrified to leave her own apartment. A small, accidental fire sparks a coping method she’d never expected, and brings an amazing man to her door.

Firefighter Cade “Sledge” Turner’s idyllic life ended the day his sister was kidnapped. Now he knows firsthand that tragedy can befall anyone, at any time. Meeting Elizabeth on the job was a gift. Cade can envision spending his life with this woman. He understands what she’s been through, is willing to help her heal…though even Cade is unaware of Beth’s new secret obsession.

As Beth takes steps to help herself heal, and Cade attempts to earn her trust and prove his own, they’re both about to be tested—in a way that could see everything they’ve worked for go up in flames.

Review
This was an amazing story of finding your way back to yourself. While not as antsy and gut wrenching as most of the books in this series, I am glad that we got Elizabeth's story and that we got to meet Cade. This story tells about a woman who has been through hell and her amazing journey after. I loved Beth and Cade's story so much and would recommend it to anyone.

Awaken Me

Blurb
What do you do when you lose the single most important thing in your life? You grieve. You sink so deep in a hole, you can no longer see the top. All you see is dark. Your life becomes dull and dreary. You withdraw from your friends, lash out at the ones your closest to, and become so absorbed in your pain, you feel the only way out is to end it permanently. Your heart no longer pumps properly and you can never get enough air in your lungs. You drink, you neglect your health, and you rent dirty hotel rooms with the sole purpose of ending your pain in them. Guilt eats at you for not being at the one place you were needed the most. And you become angry because you were left behind.

Or at least, that’s what I did. Until she came along…

Chris, the bane of my existence. She’s always there in the background, watching me, trying to ‘be there’ for me. But I don’t want her help. I don’t need her to butt in where she’s not wanted. I just want to be left alone in my grief. But she's not giving up, even when I throw insult after insult her way. Every time I turn around, there she is. And what’s worse, she’s starting to make me want things. Things I never thought I could have again. She’s making me forget the pain and bringing color back into my life with her fiery red hair, bright green eyes, and the silly faces she makes at herself in the mirror. But what happens if I let her in? Could I be brave enough to open myself up, knowing the possibility of having it snatched away again. Once I know the feeling of touching Chris, of having her heart and soul blend with mine, I would never survive losing that.

Can I take the chance of her being my savior, even knowing that she could also be the one that could push me other the edge of self-destruction?

Review

This book was amazing. A complete roller-coaster of emotions. I literally had to put the book down twice in order to recover enough to continue reading it, and by the end I felt like a complete emotional heap. I love Nick and Chris so much, and am so happy they finally got their story. While this is a stand alone I recommend you read the rest of this series first to get the back story on these two wonderful characters.

Billy Jeffers

Blurb

Billy Jeffers, pianist, never dreamed of being in a rock band, yet he reluctantly agreed to help a friend start one: Steel Total Destruction. Then, at a Miami club one night, the front man was injured and unable to play lead guitar. Therefore, Billy quickly learned and was then thrust into a spotlight he never wanted.

Madison, lead singer Memphis Black’s sassy twenty-year-old sister, left college to work for Forever Four. She has felt an intense attraction toward Billy from the first time she laid eyes on him. She even makes it apparent, but he brushes off every attempt she makes.

When his world starts crumbling apart, the band’s nice guy becomes deliciously bad. Will he use Madison’s attraction toward him to seduce her into keeping her mouth shut? Or will she reveal the secret that could crush the bond Billy has with Steel Total Destruction and Forever Four?

Hearts will be broken, hate f*cks will be had, friendships will be tested, and all hell will break loose.

Are you ready to rock?

Review

Absolutely loved this book! I fell in love with the men of the Steel world from the very first and Billy Jeffers is no exception. With his difficulty in trusting and his emotional pull towards Madison there is no stopping this epic love story. Billy is a A Rock Star with an inner Geek, the perfect combination.

Love in the City

Blurb

NYPD detective Daniel DeCecco didn’t want to fall hard for his best friend’s little sister. But Lucy Sark has a plan…

Off-limits love is tested and honesty (eventually) proves to be the best policy in this standalone sequel to Love On The Record (Griffin and Tessa’s story).

Review

This was a sweet novella that gave us a peak at some characters that we had grown to love while giving us a story about two people we met in the book Love on the Record. I love that we got to see Daniel and Lucy's story this go around as I wanted Daniel's story as soon as LotR was finished. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I have.

Justice for Corrie

Blurb

Blind since birth, Corrie Madison relies on her other sharpened senses in her job as a chiropractor. Never did she imagine she’d have to depend on them to identify a killer. But when a man enters her practice, murdering everyone in his path, Corrie is the only witness—putting her directly in the killer’s crosshairs.

Officer Quint Axton wasn’t looking for love, or even a relationship, until he meets Corrie. Beautiful and brave, resilient and intelligent, she’s everything Quint wants—if he can keep her alive long enough to explore their mutual attraction. The threats on Corrie’s life are escalating. Surely a blind person is helpless against a ruthless killer?

Hardly. Corrie is about to prove that disabled does not equal defenseless.

Review

This was an amazing addition to Stoker's Texas Heroes series. Corrie is a wonderfully inspiring heroine for any woman out there. As a blind woman she does what most people couldn't imagine. Her bravery and courage are awe inducing and she is a perfect fit for Quint, whom we met in the other books of this series. This book was filled with passion and courage that any author would be envious of. If you haven't read the other books in this series I recommend you do so also as they are simply amazing.
