Kissed By a Seal

Blurb
Julie Collins is done with men, and their super slimy ways.

Lt. Jason Steyner has given up on finding the right woman—at least until he gets out of the military.

But when the curvy flight attendant and the hunky Navy SEAL meet late one night, the attraction is immediate. And complicated. Can they find a way to keep each other in their lives? Will they realize what they have before it’s too late?

Kissed by a SEAL is a standalone novella in the Hope Falls Kindle World. It connects to Snowed In, a Hope Falls novel by Melanie Shawn (where you first meet Julie), and Fall Away and Fall Fast, two SEALs Undone novellas by Zoe York (where you first meet Jason). It can be read on its own.

Review

Absolutely loved this book! Jason is so amazing, I have yet to read a Zoe York book that wasn't phenomenal and Jason and Julie's story is no exception. The "accidental" email at the end is by far the best part. This is a must read.

Searing Ecstasy

Blurb

Drake, the powerful dragon and leader of the Guardians, has spent his long life protecting all inhabitants of the four Realms, but fails to save the one who matters most. His mate. In the month since finding her feral, he’s been slowly losing control of his beast and soon he fears the dragon will reign free unleashing it’s fury upon the Realms.

Delia has changed. No longer a carefree young woman, she is now a nightmare in the making. After her abduction and torture she unwillingly houses two beasts and more power than she can ever contain on her own. She can never be released. Nor can she have the male who gives her any semblance of sanity in her new world, the one she craves more than her own freedom.

With unknown enemies on the horizon and yet another God awakened will they lose themselves in the madness of an impossible mating? Or will they come together in searing ecstasy, bonding them in a way that sets them both free?

Warning: Sexually explicit content (beds actually get burned down) and alpha males and females with bad language.

This book was amazing! I started at the beginning of this series and each book just pulls me in further and further. I love Drake and Dalia's story , the struggle they go through is just heart wrenching, and Sander and Nastia are just as amazing!

Protecting the Future

Blurb

Wolf and his fellow SEAL team members have saved many lives, and been in even more harrowing situations, but their latest mission might prove the most difficult of all. Charged with rescuing American soldier, Sergeant Penelope Turner, from the clutches of ISIS, the men infiltrate the refugee camp where she’s believed to be held. The conditions are horrific, the search nearly impossible, but Penelope herself could prove the key to their success…if the SEALs can interpret her clues.

An unforgiving desert, perilous mountain terrain, a rising body count and insurgents on the hunt…all of this and more stands between the SEALs completing their mission and returning home to their women, left to bravely deal with fears of their own stateside.

Sometimes a mission is more than one team can handle. With a little help from new found friends, the SEALS won’t stop until they’ve won the day. Failure is not an option.

What an amazing conclusion to one of the best series I have ever read. Susan Stoker's books just seem to keep getting better. This one will make you laugh one minute then ball your eyes out the next. You don't want to miss this book.

Blue Voodoo

Blurb

A pirate with the blues. . .literally

Julian is a pirate with a demand. Years ago, his vehement determination to protect his freedom at any cost drove him from the warm embrace of a young voodoo priestess and out into the open sea. Her retribution for his abandonment was a curse that turned his beard a disturbingly vibrant shade of blue. Though it has made for an apropos pirate name—Bluebeard—it has made succeeding in a profession that requires secrecy and anonymity…difficult.

After a decade of staying only a wave or two ahead of lawmakers who find it only too easy to locate witnesses who remember him, Julian has had enough. He’s going to find the little voodoo priestess and he’s going to see that she compensates him for all she cost him…with interest.

A voodoo queen who doesn’t have the blues. . .and doesn’t want them

Ten years ago, Dominique allowed a smooth-talking pirate to coax her into his bed, only to wake alone the next morning just in time to see him set sail without so much as a goodbye. Born to a line of powerful voodoo priests and priestesses, it was nothing for her to fling a curse at the man who scorned her—but that wasn’t enough.

Swearing she would never again suffer such disrespect, Dominique dedicated herself to becoming a true voodoo queen. She serves the loa and her community, feeding her mysterious reputation with charms and spells that heal those who are loyal to her. Between her magic and her thriving rumrunning business, Dominique now has the status and respect that she craves—and she has no intention of sharing it with the pirate whose blue beard is nearly as outrageous as his marriage proposal.

A pirate’s life for me. . .

A pirate with a blue beard. A voodoo queen. Three dead wives. It will take more than a marriage to bring this man and woman together. It will take a little…Blue Voodoo.

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I loved this book. I am a huge fan of Kirill, and this hero reminded me much of him. I absolutely love this series and can't wait to find out what story will be told next!
